After short studying a card it is possible to notice on it standard four leg the quartz generator on 45Mhz on 3.3v, applied for clocking digital schemes. Having thought, it is possible to come to conclusion, that processing of a stream some DSP in chip B2C2 and that makes the generator and sets speed of work of this most DSP. As the donor the board from laser printers has been taken. On it there were 3 generators in the same case as well as on SS2 face values in 28, 48 Mhz

Also without problems the stream was accepted on Intelsat 702 at 54.8°E SatGate SR 40.692 with 60 Mhz quartz generator...

 


At absence of the necessary quartz generator it is possible to collect the simple scheme on the basis of the quartz resonator, as it has been done

At present one of cards was started and works on frequency 80 Mhz

 


After there was an idea of installation of the quartz resonator of greater face value in the standard quartz generator from SS2. Here this miracle which successfully works

 


What to do at absence necessary quartz generator ?

Then there was an idea - AGP bus works on frequency 66 Mhz, and what if to take from clock generator of motherboard having connected SS2 to clock generator AGP bus ?


132 pin EDGE (AGP bus) connector at the computer motherboard

To us it is necessary connect to pin B7 (CLK), as it has been done.


The usual wire has been taken, one end is soldered to AGP to a videocard on 7 pin (to not open AGP slot)
